Two Small Vials of Blood
Last week, I went with my sister to a laboratory clinic. She was worried that she might have a high blood sugar since her infected toe was being swarmed by ants. As I waited for her outside the sterile area of the clinic, I could see the nurse taking empty vials from a nearby hospital cart. Then later on, I saw that she took two small vials of blood from my sister.
So when my sister went out, I asked if it take that amount of blood to determine if you are diabetic or not but she replied that she requested a complete blood chem not just to check on her sugar levels but others as well.
To cut the long story short, my sister found out that she was normal. Her sugar levels are normal and so as the others. I am happy for her. Now, I need to have mine check again because my last check up, my sugar levels leaped beyond the normal!
