Business cards are used to give the prospects or clients a way to contact you whenever then find the need to. The common size is 3 inches by 2 inches and fits well within any wallet. It is meant to be so for easy access. As time goes by, though, paper wears away. That gives the bridge to new business, burn in time. Why not, instead, have your business cards plastic version be made? Have something perpetually important printed at the back like certain conversions perhaps, so there is more reason to keep your card. There is always a better way. It just has to be found.

With so many electronic and electric gadgets and appliances that exist in a household, it cannot be helped that more often than not, you see cables here and there, hanging loosely or scattered on the floor. Especially behind the computer area (desktops) with all the peripherals that are running like the sound system, printer and scanner, not to mention networked computers, those cables start to become eye sore. It gets irritating to some and confusing to others. It is time to have cable management to do its job of cleaning up the messy snaking of cables. It is great to go on a ski holiday at this time because after all, there is just so much snow. And it is so cold!

So instead of just hibernating in the house, why not have some fun in the cold outdoors? It is cold, but if you prepare yourself, you will really have a fun time. You just make sure that you are loaded with vitamins and minerals for immunity. Keep yourself warm and protected with spyder jackets and other thermal wear.

And well, you will need some hot choco whenever you get indoors for energy and some warming of the stomach, too.

House in the Woods

Wouldn’t it be nice to have a house in the woods? It will be a respite…a sanctuary away from the city.

It need not be a big place. It could be just a small log cabin complete with some amenities and cabin furniture to make your stay comfortable.

The great thing with this is that you can wake up early and take a morning walk around the woods. You can inhale fresh air, pick fresh fruits from the tree, and then just enjoy the green scenery around you.

Ahh…charming thought. It is just something that a city dweller could really appreciate.

Taking a Break

For some people, especially Filipinos, Christmas means reunions, parties, and pretty much everything else that reminds them of home.

But for others, the long holidays mean vacation time! Yes, many of those who live in wintery places would book a week-long holiday in a family all inclusive resort so that they can all enjoy the sun, sand, and sea.

They prefer these locations because at least, there is an activity for everybody. The dads can indulge in sports, the moms can pamper themselves in spas, while the children of different ages can always find something good to do. Then they will just get together during meal times.

Wow it would be great to take a break this Christmas season and just forget the difficult times that the country is facing.

Two Small Vials of Blood

Last week, I went with my sister to a laboratory clinic. She was worried that she might have a high blood sugar since her infected toe was being swarmed by ants. As I waited for her outside the sterile area of the clinic, I could see the nurse taking empty vials from a nearby hospital cart. Then later on, I saw that she took two small vials of blood from my sister.

So when my sister went out, I asked if it take that amount of blood to determine if you are diabetic or not but she replied that she requested a complete blood chem not just to check on her sugar levels but others as well.

To cut the long story short, my sister found out that she was normal. Her sugar levels are normal and so as the others. I am happy for her. Now, I need to have mine check again because my last check up, my sugar levels leaped beyond the normal!

Not Good at Drawing Things

I am not really good at creating drawings and caricatures. I draw more like a toddler than an adult. I am not good with courses that would require you to draw. If I try, I will eventually fail. So I took a different path…

Now, as I am jobless, I found myself browsing on Network Architect Jobs than of those related to my field of study. And since I am not a graduate of Architecture, I find myself wishing that I knew how to draw so that I could apply for a job! LOL!!
